How is the exchange value decided for my old battery?

The exchange value depends on the Ampere Hour (Ah) capacity of your old battery — the higher the Ah, the more you get back. Our technician checks the battery at the time of installation and confirms the exact exchange amount on the spot. That amount is directly adjusted in your final bill. No separate payment, no trips to the shop.

What is the price with exchange vs without exchange?

Both prices are listed on every product page. You can clearly see what you pay if you have an old battery to give back, and what you pay if you don't. No hidden calculation — what you see is what you pay.

Are there any hidden charges — installation, delivery, GST?

No hidden charges at all. The price you see on the product page includes the battery, free doorstep installation, and GST. You will receive a proper GST invoice at the time of installation. What we quote is what you pay — full stop.

Can I pay cash on delivery or by UPI?

Yes, we accept cash on delivery, UPI, and bank transfer. For high-value orders like inverter battery sets, you can also pay after the installation is complete and you are satisfied with the product.

Why is the online price different from what local shops quote?

Local shops sometimes quote a higher MRP and then give a discount to make the deal feel better. We list the actual selling price upfront — no drama, no negotiation needed. If you see a lower genuine quote elsewhere for the exact same battery, let us know.

Warranty

What is the difference between free replacement and pro-rata warranty?

Free replacement means if the battery fails within that period, we replace it at no cost. Pro-rata means after the free period, you get a partial discount on a new battery based on how much time is left. We explain this clearly at the time of purchase.

What do I need to make a warranty claim?

Keep your original GST invoice required for any claim. If there is any issue during the warranty period, just call or WhatsApp us. Our technician will visit, inspect the battery, and if it is a genuine manufacturing defect, replacement is completely free.

Does the warranty change for commercial vehicles like autos and e-rickshaws?

Yes, it does. Exide and SF offer 12 months warranty for commercial vehicles vs 24–55 months for personal vehicles. This is the manufacturer's policy. We will always tell you the exact warranty before you buy — no surprises after installation.

Will I get a warranty card at the time of installation?

Yes, always. You get the official Exide or SF warranty card along with your GST invoice at the time of installation. Do not misplace either of them — they are your protection if anything goes wrong.

Installation

Is doorstep installation really free? No hidden labour charge?

Completely free. No installation charge, no service fee, no trip charge. Our technician comes to your home, office, or wherever your vehicle is parked, installs the battery, and leaves. The price you paid is everything.

How long does battery installation actually take?

Most installations are done in 15 to 30 minutes. It is a quick swap — your vehicle does not need to go anywhere. For larger inverter battery sets, it may take up to 45 minutes.

Will the battery come fully charged and ready to use?

Yes. Every battery we deliver is fully charged and ready to use from the moment it is installed. You will not face any situation where the battery arrives and needs charging before your vehicle can start.

Will you take my old battery during the same visit?

Yes. Our technician picks up the old battery at the time of installation itself. The exchange value is adjusted in your bill on the spot. One visit, everything done — no second trip needed.

How do I know which battery is right for my car or bike?

Use the Battery Finder on our homepage — select your vehicle type, brand, and model and it will show you the exact battery that fits. If you are unsure, just WhatsApp or call us with your vehicle name and year and we will tell you the right battery within minutes.

Can I fit a higher Ah battery than what came with my vehicle?

You can go slightly higher — for example, if your car came with a 35Ah battery, a 40Ah is usually fine. However, going too high puts extra load on the alternator. We will always recommend the right size for your vehicle — not just what we have in stock.

Is the battery different for diesel and petrol versions of the same car?

Yes, it often is. Diesel engines need a higher cranking power. Always mention your fuel type when ordering — we will confirm the exact battery you need.

Which inverter battery is right for a 2BHK home in Delhi?

For a 2BHK with 4 fans, 6–8 lights, and a TV, a 150Ah tubular battery with an 850VA–1050VA inverter is the standard recommendation in Delhi. For larger homes or if you run a fridge, go for 180–200Ah. Tell us your load and we will guide you.

How fast will you reach me after I place an order?

We reach your location within 2–4 hours anywhere in Delhi NCR. In many areas of Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon, we are there faster. If you are in an emergency, call us directly and we will priorities your case.

Do you cover Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, and Faridabad too?

Yes. We cover Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, and Faridabad. If you are unsure about your specific area, just WhatsApp us with your location and we will confirm immediately.

Can I get a battery on Sunday or a public holiday?

Yes, we operate seven days a week. Sundays and public holidays are actually some of our busiest days. Place your order or call us — we will be there.

What if my battery dies late at night?

Call or WhatsApp us directly and we will do our best to reach you. Our team operates during extended hours. If we cannot make it immediately, we will be honest about it rather than leave you waiting — and will tell you the earliest we can arrive.
